The next panelist is Nancy Fresco, who studies relationships between climate warming, more fire and shifting vegetation using locally focused climate data and models from the Scenarios Network for Alaska and Arctic Planning.
The final panelist is Joe Little, who has a dual appointment as an economist with the School of Management and IARC, and who researches fire suppression costs based on climate model projections for increased occurrence and severity.
Cookies and coffee will be served. For more information contact Sherri Wall at slwall@alaska.edu.
