IARC Salon: 'Co-Production of Knowledge and Competitive Collaboration'

The IARC Salon, "Co-production of Knowledge and Competitive Collaboration — How the Approach to Research Is Changing," will be held Thursday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m. via Zoom.






Panelists include Uma Bhatt, professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences and director of the NOAA Cooperative Institute for Climate, Ocean, and Ecosystem Studies; and Jessica Black, assistant professor in the Department of Alaska Native Studies and Rural Development. The discussion will address topics such as working with stakeholders and local Indigenous communities and how interdisciplinary team science is driving contemporary research.




Hosted by Ph.D. students Nicholas Parlato and Cecilia Borries-Strigle, the event will begin with short 10-minute talks by each panelist followed by a question-and answer-period. Please register at this link and join us via Zoom this Thursday!
