Cornerstone

In partnership with the CTC aviation program, the Alaska Airmens' Association is presenting inspirational speaker Jessica Cox from 5 - 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, in Schaible Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

Cox earned her Sport Pilot license and holds a “Guinness World Record” as the first female pilot to fly an airplane with her feet. She is also the first person without arms in the American Tae Kwon-Do Association to get a black belt. Cox lives an otherwise normal life using her feet as others use their hands. The presentation will describe how Cox approaches a challenge, redefining the concept of possibility and has the goal of inspiring others to reach beyond perceived limitations and live their dreams.
