Intermittent phone outages through March 6

Telephone utilities is in the process of replacing out dated cable that is failing and causing phone troubles. There may be intermittent phone outages for university buildings on and off campus who DO NOT have the VOIP phones already in place through March 6.  In most cases users will not be affected other than a minute.

Outages include the following:

• fire alarms


• instrument panels and controls


• elevator phones


• emergency phones


• emergency sensors


• earthquake dialers


• auto dialers


• copper wire communications


• fax lines

Off campus buildings include:

• CTC Hangar


• West Valley Plaza


• Harper


• Bowers building


• 590 University Ave.
