International flag dedication Nov. 14

The annual international flag dedication ceremony recognizing the home countries of
some of UAF's international students will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 3-5 p.m.
in the Wood Center multilevel lounge. An ice cream social will follow the presentation.The ceremony, sponsored by the International Student Organization and the Office of International Programs and Initiatives, celebrates international students and scholars and the countries they come from.
Student presenters will speak about the meaning of their flag and a little about their home country. The 2018 featured flags, originally dedicated in 2006, are Bulgaria, Japan and Nepal.
