Intro to strength training returns for summer

Registration for a beginner-friendly strength training program opens Thursday, April
1. The six-week fitness class starts Tuesday, May 11, and is free for Nanook Recreation
members. Space is limited.
Introduction to Strength Training is progressive. Students will learn the basic concepts
and safety considerations when resistance training. Individual needs will be considered
when teaching new exercises, and modifications can be made for a variety of skill
levels.
