Nationally known consultant offers workshops for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Jamie Utt, a nationally know consultant and trainer, will present three workshops on the Fairbanks
campus as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month activities.
Since 2004, Utt has worked as a consultant, educator and trainer across the United
States to build safer, more inclusive and more justice-centered communities. Utt is
founder and director of education at CivilSchools: Building Bullying-Free Culture, which provides a comprehensive, research-based program to prevent bullying in schools.
The Nanook Diversity and Action Center and the Leadership, Involvement and Volunteer
Experience program are bringing Utt to UAF to share his knowledge about leadership,
consent and social justice.

- Beyond the "I" — Taking Collective Responsibility for Leadership and Positive Change, Friday, April 7, 1-2 p.m., Wood Center Room E/F
- "Turn Down for What!?" Building Sex Positive Party Culture, Friday, April 7, 7-9 p.m., Hess Recreation Center
- Action, Activism and Allyship: Working for Social Justice at UAF and Beyond, Saturday, April 8, 10-2 p.m. Hess Recreation Center. Breakfast will be provided.
