Former NOAA administrator to speak at UAF

Jane Lubchenco, a noted marine biologist and former administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, will deliver the 2014 Irving-Scholander Memorial Guest Lecture at the University of Alaska Fairbanks on March 13 from 6-7 p.m. in the Murie Building auditorium.
Hosted by the UAF institutes of Arctic Biology and Marine Science, the lecture series brings an outstanding life scientist to campus each year.
Lubchenco’s lecture is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in the atrium.
