Join me in supporting United Way

As part of the UAF United Way fundraising campaign, I’ve chosen to direct my gift to the Fairbanks Community Food Bank, one of the more than 20 member agencies of the United Way of the Tanana Valley.
Food is expensive in Interior Alaska. My grocery bill each week is a testament to this fact, so I was compelled to give back to support those in the community that may need help putting food on their tables. Through the current UAF fundraising campaign, I’m using payroll deduction to make my gift to the Fairbanks Community Food Bank. This local nonprofit organization provides food to the hungry and distributes surplus food that would ordinarily be discarded. This is a mission I can get behind.
