Joint seminar series promotes international collaboration in Arctic sciences

With climate change ongoing, the Arctic has exhibited some of the most dramatic changes
in land, atmosphere, and ocean systems. UAF's International Arctic Research Center
and Hokkaido University's Arctic Research Center are launching a joint seminar series
to promote international collaboration in Arctic sciences. Speakers and participants
from other research units across both universities are welcome.The first seminar will be held on April 19 from 4-5 p.m. Alaska time and will feature speakers Hisatomo Waga and Irene Alabia, postdoctoral researchers investigating changes in Arctic ocean systems. Register for the virtual event here.
