Comic Club takes up 'V for Vendetta'

"Remember, remember the fifth of November." So goes the introductory line to a chant commemorating Guy Fawkes Night in Great Britain.

On Saturday, Nov. 5, the UAF Comic Club will watch and discuss the movie "V for Vendetta," a futuristic movie based on a DC/Vertigo Comics series whose freedom-seeking main character wears a Guy Fawkes mask.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. in Arctic Java on the ground floor of Wood Center. Food will be provided.

Limited spaces are available, so RSVP soon. Pick up a free copy of "V for Vendetta" from the LIVE Office in Wood Center.
