Lean process improvement training
March 12, 2018
Lean process improvement training will be held in March. UA leadership has identified
lean process improvement as a key approach to achieving the university's goals. A
“white belt” introduction is scheduled for March 20, with the option to continue for
a five-day “green belt” certification on March 21, 22, 28, 29 and 30, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30
p.m. each day. The green belt is a recognized certification indicating the ability
to lead improvement project teams.
Interested participants can apply for the waitlist online. Selected applicants will be notified by March 16.
The training will be hosted by UAF Administrative Services, in conjunction with the Office of Management and Budget and the Process Improvement and Training — or PIT — Crew. For more information email fsgallant@alaska.edu.
