University Relations

The Honors Program announces UAF's inaugural living-learning community this fall. Living-learning communities are high-impact residential programs where like-minded students can find community with one another on campus.

Incoming first-year Honors Program students will have the opportunity to live together on the same floor in Skarland Hall. Benefits of living in the LLC include speakers, cultural activities and retreats. What makes the Honors LLC at UAF unique is how students will be able to apply course concepts in real-world community settings. Students will deepen their understanding of the world and work together to create a healthy community through service, cooperation and leadership.
