Management classes offered in Anchorage

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service will host management classes in Anchorage during May.
The one- and two-day classes apply toward the Certified Public Manager Program but are open to anyone interested in professional development. The program is a nationally accredited management development program designed to develop management, supervision and leadership skills.
Classes will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Anchorage district Extension office at 1675 C St. One-day class topics are quality customer service, May 7; the role of supervisor, May 9 and May 15; and the supervisor as leader, May 13. Two-day classes will teach how to give powerful presentations, May 19 and 21, and how supervisors can manage performance, May 28-29.
