Marine energy collaboration grants available
June 28, 2021
The Pacific Marine Energy Center invites applications for collaboration grants (maximum $1,500) to facilitate short-term, on-site research opportunities.
The grants allow participation in marine energy projects underway at PMEC partner universities — Oregon State University, the University of Washington and the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Two collaboration grants will be available to graduate and undergraduate students at each university during this round.
To apply, submit a one-page application of no more than 500 words to Jeremy Kasper at jlkasper@alaska.edu by June 30. The application should do the following:
- Identify the partner university and collaboration partner there.
- Describe the research or technical project.
- Describe your role, what you hope to learn, how you will contribute and how this opportunity will expand your knowledge.
