Mason to lead OIT User Services

Martha Mason is now the executive director of User Services/CIO for the Office of Information Technology. Mason has been serving in this position as interim since May 2011.

OIT User Services is the front line group working directly with students, faculty and staff to assist with technology needs and provide help desk assistance, training and desktop support. Mason has been the manager of the OIT Support Center since 2006.  She came to the university in 1995 as a software engineer for the Alaska Satellite Facility and continues to enjoy the Fairbanks community. Mason earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina and has called Alaska her home since 1983.
