Fairbanks, Alaska - The Alaska Nanooks men's ski teams qualified a full team for the 2013 NCAA Skiing Championships to be held March 6-9 in Middlebury, Vt. The event is being hosted by Middlebury College and the Nordic ski races will be held  at the Rikert Nordic Center.

Alaska's qualifiers include freshman Michael Fehrenbach (Saint Märgen, Germany/Mechanical Engineering) and sophomores Logan Hanneman (Fairbanks, Alaska/Mechanical Engineering) and Jonas Löffler (Saint Märgen, Germany/Business).

NMU also qualified three men, while College of St. Scholastica picked up the last of the seven qualifying spots.

Hanneman is the lone skier making his second trip to NCAAs in as many years and will look to build off a solid rookie debut that saw him land two top-25 finishes at the 2012 event in Bonzeman, Mont.

Fehrenbach was an all-CCSA first team selection, while Löffler landed a spot on the second team. All three skiers contributed to Alaska's second-place showing at the Central Region Championships last weekend, when they were narrowly edged by mere points by the NMU Wildcats for the hardware.

The men's 10-kilometer classical races will be conducted March 7 and the men's 20K freestyle race will be held March 9.
