Museum curator shares marmot research

The next presentation in the University of Alaska Museum of the North's Discovery Series features mammal curator Link Olson, who will discuss "Alaska's Marmots: Known Knowns and Unkown Knowns."
The presentation will be held in the museum auditorium on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.. The public is invited to explore objects and specimens from the museum's collection. There is no admission fee for this series.

- March 12, “Alaska’s Butterflies, Beetles and Bees: Documenting the Biodiversity of the North,” by Derek Sikes.
- April 23, “Climate Change and Human Land Use in Ice Age Alaska,” by Ben Potter and Josh Reuther.
