Museum Discovery Series talks look at pike and birds

University of Alaska Museum of the North curators will discuss a predatory fish species
and birds during the final two events in this spring's Museum Discovery Series.
The museum coordinates and sponsors the series. Each month during the spring semester,
a curator unveils new discoveries based on research in the museum’s collections. The
presentations are held in the museum auditorium on Thursdays at noon and are free
and open to the public.
The final two presentations are:
- “Wish Upon a Pike,” by Andrés López, April 26.
- “Birds, Birds, Birds,” by Kevin Winker, May 10.
