The University of Alaska Museum of the North will hold a Family Day exploring archaeology on Saturday, April 25, from noon to 4 p.m.

Visitors can dig for artifacts and learn about stone tools. Working archaeologists will be at the museum to talk and answer questions. There will be opportunities to create crafts with clay, beads and leather, along with other activities.

There is no admission fee for children 14 and under thanks to a grant from Saltchuk. For more information call 907-474-7505 or visit the museum online at www.uaf.edu/museum.
