Museum teen workshop to feature fish printing

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will offer this month's installment of the ARTSci teen program on Monday, Jan. 20, from noon-2 p.m.

This month's workshop will focus on fish printing. Participants will learn about fish anatomy and explore gyotaku, the Japanese art of fish printing. Workshop activities will include making fish prints.

ARTSci workshops are open to 13- to 18-year-olds. Registration is $20, or $15 for museum members, and preregistration is required. The museum will also a host a teen workshop in February.
