Nanook Navigator: Summer 2020 training opportunities

Has yellow teardrop with a blue arrow in the center.Nanook Navigator can be used by faculty and staff advisors to make appointments, issue and track early alerts, run reports, create watch lists and campaigns, and support students through various networking tools. Instructors may also use Nanook Navigator to assist with student intervention and success initiatives by monitoring student activities and initiating alerts.


Nanook Navigator training opportunities are available throughout the summer. Please sign up online. Trainings that do not have attendees registered the morning of the training will be canceled.


The first summer training, called "Back to the Basics," is on May 11 from 3-4 p.m. See the training descriptions below or go online for more information.


Back to the Basics: Learn how to log into your Nanook Navigator profile, switch roles, view assigned students, search for students, and create a watch list.

Creating Appointments and Appointment Campaigns: Learn how to set your availability, sync your calendar, create individual appointments and create appointment campaigns. Appointment center (front desk staff) training as requested.

Communicating with Students: Learn how to email and text your students through Nanook Navigator.

Alerts and Case Management: Learn how to view and create alerts, and manage cases in Nanook Navigator.

Progress Reports and Alerts: Learn how to complete progress reports and issue alerts in Nanook Navigator.

Searches and Reports: Learn how to run searches and pull data reports (midterm and final grades, at-risk progress reports, students with alerts, students with cases, etc.) in Nanook Navigator.
