Nanook Navigator training
October 28, 2019
Throughout the fall and in January, there will be training sessions for advisors — both faculty and staff — and instructors. Each training will cover advisors and instructors in the same training session. You can sign up for the date and time that works best for your schedule.
Nanook Navigator can be used by faculty and staff advisors to make appointments, issue and track early alerts, run reports, create watch lists and campaigns, and support students through various networking tools. Instructors may also use Nanook Navigator to assist with student intervention and success initiatives by monitoring student activities and initiating alerts. You can learn more on the Nanook Navigator website.
Please note that training sessions with no attendees signed up will be canceled.
For more information, contact Jessica Skipper, student success coordinator, at uaf-nanooknavigator@alaska.edu or 474-7414.

Faculty and staff can get training for Nanook Navigator, UAF’s most recent student
success tool. The training is conducted by Jessica Skipper, student success coordinator
within the Division of General Studies and manager of Nanook Navigator. Ginny Kinne,
director of the Academic Advising Center, will also lead the Nanook Navigator training.
