National Distance Learning Week event offers prizes

UAF will celebrate National Distance Learning Week, Nov. 7-11.
Students taking distance courses are encouraged to share their stories in a Facebook event running throughout the week. Participants will be entered to win a Livescribe 3 smartpen and accessories that enhance the learning experience, as well as smaller daily prizes.
Refreshments will be available all week in 131 Bunnell, the eLearning office. Student Services staff will be available to answer questions about courses and the additional support online students receive.
UAF will offer about 400 courses via distance this spring. Registration starts on Nov. 14.
