New Advantage program serves 100+ high school students
December 2, 2019
UAF’s new Advantage program enrolled 110 high school students in online courses during fall 2019. Twenty-three of those students enrolled in more than one UAF course.
The Advantage program, utilizing UAF’s high-quality online courses and faculty, partners with school districts across Alaska to offer students dual enrollment options. The program, created to help address the low percentage of Alaska’s high school students who go on to postsecondary education, is supported by UAF eCampus and ultimately reduces barriers to help students successfully transition to higher education.
There are now 16 school districts with five associated homeschool networks throughout Alaska that have partnered with UAF eCampus to be part of the Advantage program. Learn more.
