New music for two pianos

A evening performance of original modern music for two pianos composed by Etsuko Kimura
Pederson, 2010 Rasmuson Project Grant recipient, and performed by Pederson and Paul
Krejci, is scheduled for 7 p.m., July 7, 2011 in the Davis Concert Hall. Admission
is free but donations are welcome.
Both Etsuko and Krejci play in various ensembles in the Fairbanks community. They
have master's degrees in music from UAF. Krejci completed his interdisciplinary doctoral
degree in ethnomusicology in December 2010, while Etsuko continues to study music
at UAF and beyond.
