New student career and recruiting platform

Handshake is the University of Alaska system’s new career management platform. In addition to searching and applying for jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities, this online recruiting system allows current students and alumni to create profiles and upload resumes. It is also where students can go to network with peers about opportunities, find information on workshops, sign up for on-campus interviews and access career resources.

For current students
All current students already have a Handshake account and will receive a welcome message introducing them to the system on Jan. 13. Students need to use their UAF username and password (single sign-on) to log in.

For staff and faculty
If you want to view what job postings are available for students and see the platform, please email uaf-career@alaska.edu for access.
