Volunteer orientation leaders hold informal information sessions with small groups of new students during the days leading up to the start of the fall semester at UAF. Volunteer orientation leaders held informal information sessions with small groups of new students during the days leading up to the start of the fall semester. New Student Orientation for fall took place Aug. 28 – 31.

The New Student Orientation staff is comprised of student leaders and staff who tailor workshops and design tours to expose new students to campus resources and to address questions about academic and extracurricular life in Fairbanks and on campus.
