New Student Orientation is moving from the Office of Admissions to the Center for Student Engagement. This move will strengthen existing programming offered through the Center for Student Engagement while cultivating partnerships between CSE and Admissions, providing additional support to incoming students through the matriculation and orientation process. CSE and the Office of Admissions will collaborate closely in preparation for a full transition at the end of the current fiscal year.

A search for a new coordinator will take place this spring. In the meantime, Ronnie Houchin, associate director in the Center for Student Engagement, will coordinate fall 2021 new student orientation.

Both the Center of Student Engagement and the Office of Admissions look forward to welcoming our students to UAF in fall 2021!
