New UA Press synthesis book club selections for summer 2021

Beginning Tuesday, June 8, at 7 p.m., the book club will discuss its new concurrent selections:
- "Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds & Shape Our Futures" (2020), a nonfiction book on mycology by English biologist Merlin Sheldrake, and
- The Sea and Summer (1987), Australian science fiction novelist George Turner's Arthur C. Clarke Award-winning novel of climate change in the not-too-distant future.

The club meets on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. on Zoom (meeting link available on request), and occasionally in person too.

- July 13: Sheldrake section 6 (Wood Wide Webs) / Turner thru chapter 20 (Nick AD 2051)
- July 20: Sheldrake section 7 (Radical Mycology) / Turner thru chapter 21 (Teddy AD 2051)
- July 27: Sheldrake section 8 (Making Sense of Fungi) and Epilogue / Turner thru postscript
