Alaska Sea Grant announces two fellowship opportunities: NOAA Fisheries – Sea Grant Fellowships in Fisheries Population and Ecosystem Dynamics, and Marine Resource Economics

Applications must be received in the Alaska Sea Grant office by January 24, 2014.

The NOAA Fisheries – Sea Grant Fellowships are for Ph.D. students interested in:


  1. the population and ecosystem dynamics of living marine resources and the development and implementation of quantitative methods for assessing their status, or

  2. the economics of conservation and management of living marine resources. Recipients work with a mentor from NOAA Fisheries.


The fellowships have an anticipated start date of June 1, 2014.
