North Campus Subcommittee seeks faculty

The North Campus Subcommittee is seeking a faculty representative to serve on the
committee to represent the diverse non-university users of the land and trails, including
hikers, horseback riders, bicyclists, skiers and educational users. Applicants should
be familiar with the UAF trails and the Fairbanks community. The North Campus Subcommittee
meets once a month and makes recommendations on the research, education and recreation
use of the area and reports to the University's Master Planning Committee. The term
is for three years. The 1,100-acre UAF north campus area supports research, teaching
and recreation, including the UAF trail system.
