Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities town hall Dec. 13
December 5, 2017
The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities is applying for re-recognition
for another five-year term as the accrediting body for 162 institutions in seven northwestern
states. NWCCU commissioners are seeking comments from institutions and the public
on accreditation principles and practices through a series of town hall conversations.
The town hall for Alaska will be Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 4-5 p.m. at the University
of Alaska Anchorage, Room 107 of the Gorsuch Commons. Videoconferencing will be available
in Fairbanks in the Butrovich Building, Room 204. The town hall is open to member
institutions and the general public, and is part of a regionwide effort to gather
information on how NWCCU can best serve member institutions and the public.
