Ocean Technology Innovation Sprint applications due Sept. 26

Nanook Tech Ventures is a partner in Ocean Technology Innovation Sprint, a unique program based on the Google Ventures Sprint process to engage the next generation of Alaskans in the blue economy by forming interdisciplinary teams and creating innovative solutions to big challenges. Google Ventures developed this method of quickly evaluating competing ideas, and OTIS Alaska is an excellent way to gain experience in it.
Because the OTIS Alaska Sprint will focus on solutions to Alaska fisheries issues, the interdisciplinary teams need students, faculty and staff with a range of expertise and interests, including ocean science, humanities, fisheries technology, business and engineering. OTIS Alaska organizers will select 30 from the field of applicants.
