Hands-on programs at the University of Alaska Museum of the North during the month of October will focus on owls.

The Early Explorers program for families with children 5 and under will take place each Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. On Saturday, Oct. 19, the Junior Curators program, which is open to children 6 and older, will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. These activities are included with admission and are free for museum members.
