Seminar: Oil Spills in Ice-Covered Arctic Waters Consortium Oct. 10

The Office of the Vice Chancellor of Research invites you to a presentation by Feiyue
Wang from the University of Manitoba Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 2:30 p.m. in 401 Akasofu.
Wang will speak about the Canadian-led Oil Spill in Ice-Covered Arctic Waters Consortium
and its mandate to improve policy and practices dealing with spills of oil and related
contaminants in ice-covered Arctic waters by prioritization and communication of research
and development activities. This session will provide background information pertaining
to the establishment of this research network and opportunities for research partnerships.
The presentation will be followed by a short question and answer session.
