'One Health, One Future' documentary to air July 18

The documentary "One Health, One Future" will air on KUAC TV on Saturday, July 18, at 8 p.m.

The documentary shows how research can help Alaska's communities address pressing issues. One Health, a term coined by veterinarians, recognizes that relationships between humans, animals and the environment affect the spread of diseases and other maladies. As the concept gains momentum, most recently with the spread of COVID-19, the documentary introduces UAF's Center for One Health Research to scientists and people worldwide.
