The Learning Glass, or lightboard, is a novel amalgam of existing technologies that allows one to present written content while still facing the audience. It is one of many options instructors have when deciding how to deliver their content.

You’re invited to experience the new media studio in 303 Irving I.

UAF eCampus will host an open house on Dec. 13 from 3-5 p.m. Refreshments will be provided as well as demos of all the available equipment and tools.

This new studio is meant to ease access for faculty who work and teach in West Ridge. Like the existing media studio in 375a Rasmuson Library, the new facility is available to instructors teaching eCampus-supported courses who want to increase their course production values and create rich media.

Instructors will be able to schedule time in the studio beginning next semester.
