Orientation leader nominations sought

The Office of Admissions and the Registrar is seeking outstanding students to serve as orientation leaders for fall 2017 New Student Orientation. Nominate students online here.

Orientation leaders welcome new students to campus and help them make the transition to college life. Orientation leaders return to campus on Aug. 18 to participate in a five-day training program before serving during the New Student Orientation program from Aug. 23-26, 2017.

While this is a volunteer position, orientation leaders will receive most meals during this period, numerous "swag" items and a small stipend. Orientation leaders with signed housing agreements for fall 2017 will be able to move into their residence hall rooms early at no additional charge to them.
