Outdoor climbing wall gets companion warm-up yurt

Art major Bryson DeRonde lends a helping hand during the installation of a yurt set
up next to the outdoor climbing wall by the Student Recreation Center. The structure will serve as a warm-up hut and to store safety gear for ice climbers
using the wall.The SRC is funded in part by a semester fee, payed by Fairbanks-area students taking 9 or more credits. The SRC fee covers use of the SRC and its facilities.
The facility provides space for intramural sports and fitness memberships for UAF faculty, staff, alumni and the general public.
