Outstanding student presentation and poster awards

Huy N.Q. Tran, a Ph.D. student in atmospheric sciences advised by Nicole Mölders, and Patrick Joyce, a Ph.D. chemistry student advised by William R. Simpson, won the outstanding student presentation and poster awards at  the 2011 Alaska Weather Symposium March 15 – 16 at UAF.

The symposium provides a forum for the exchange of operational and research information related to weather in the Alaska environment.
