Overnight parking ends in part of Lower Dorms lot

Overnight parking will no longer be permitted in the two southernmost rows of the Lower Dorms parking lot, 4A.

Please see the campus map for the lot location. The change takes effect Saturday, Aug. 30.

The closure is intended to make the Lower Dorms lot more usable for commuting students, staff, faculty and visitors.

In the past, vehicles parked for extended periods of time have occupied many spaces in the Lower Dorms lot.

Overnight parking will continue to be available in the two rows closest to the dorms.

The outlying parking lots, Nenana (4E) and Taku (8B), are recommended for longer term parking, including during semester breaks.
