Pita Place will open Nov. 2

Pita Place will hold a grand opening on Monday, Nov. 2, in the Arctic Health Research Building in the old West Ridge Cafe.

Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Pita Place previously operated a popular lunch counter in Wood Center, offering Middle Eastern cuisine. The reopening on West Ridge had been delayed by equipment trouble, UAF Dining Services announced earlier this fall.
