Poole recognized for promoting a family friendly workplace

Vice Chancellor for Advancement Jake Poole was among those recognized by the Fairbanks North Star Borough's Early Childhood Development Commission for his efforts to help employees balance work and family responsibilities. The commission created the award in part because a  "family friendly" philosophy creates a more productive work environment and greater employee loyalty and morale. It can also contribute to families raising children that become students and citizens.
