The UAF Faculty Development Team will hold a proposal development workshop for faculty, staff and students Wednesday, April 28, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The workshop will focus on key grantsmanship skills, including

• interacting with funding agencies


• formulating your ideas to introduce to program officers


• analyzing solicitations


• writing to the reviewers


• how to target appropriate funding sources


• best practices for marketing your research ideas


• examples that can be addressed: NSF-MRI, DOE, Engineering Research Initiation, RII Track-4, Midscale Research, NRT and others
