Provide input on campus master plan
September 12, 2018
UAF is updating its campus master plan, and staff and faculty are invited to learn
more about the draft concepts and provide feedback at presentations Sept. 26-27.
The plan identifies conceptual plans for development and improvement. Those include
potential new building sites and major renovations, as well as goals for open space,
pedestrian and vehicular circulation systems, and parking. The plan helps ensure that
the university has a vision for the facilities and infrastructure needed to support
its teaching, research and service mission.
Formal presentations will be held for staff and faculty:
- Staff: Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2:30-4:30 p.m., Regents' Great Hall
- Faculty: Thursday, Sept. 27, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Regents' Great Hall
In addition, the consultants will be available for informal discussion on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Arctic Java in the Wood Center.
UAF’s current master plan was approved in June 2010 and is available online at http://www.uaf.edu/fs/uaf2010masterplan/.
