QPR: Suicide prevention training

The UAF Nanook Diversity and Action Center is hosting an open QPR training. QPR stands
for "question, persuade, refer."
Becoming trained in QPR can help you effectively intervene on behalf of suicidal and in-crisis people.
This free, public event will take place Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Wood
Center Conference Room E/F. Pizza will be provided.
