Starting Monday, June 29, the Rasmuson Library will be open to UAF faculty, staff and students via ID card swipe.

  • Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

  • Saturday-Sunday noon-6 p.m.

Non-UAF members of the public may obtain library materials upon request by making an appointment 24 hours ahead.

Library visitors and staff are expected to wear masks when walking through the library building and entryways.

The library has installed plexiglass barriers at all public counter stations, will be cleaning all public equipment and spaces on a frequent schedule, and staff are staggering work schedules to ensure social distancing.

With a large building like the library, it is easy for patrons to socially distance themselves at tables and study carrels. Hand sanitizer is available as well as soap and water in restrooms. Group study rooms are not available for reservation at this time.
