Registration open for invasive species workshop

Registration is open for the Alaska Invasive Species Workshop Oct. 24-26 in Anchorage.

The annual workshop will highlight invasive species policy, research and management, including a focus on eradicating elodea, the aquatic invasive plant. The workshop will take place at the Anchorage Marriott Downtown at 820 W. Seventh Ave.

Registration and workshop information is available at www.alaskainvasives.org. The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service is coordinating the workshop with many agency and private co-sponsors.
