Registration opens for invasive species workshop

Registration is open for the virtual Alaska Invasive Species Workshop, scheduled for Oct. 27-29.

Zoom sessions will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Speakers and stakeholder panel discussion at the annual workshop will highlight invasive species science, management and planning, while identifying emerging issues statewide. Attendees may learn and participate in conversations about invasive species in Alaska.

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service is coordinating the workshop with the Alaska Invasive Species Partnership, an informal group of agencies, organizations and individuals statewide that are concerned about invasive species.
